The shovel is in the ground: Dana Lim is expanding

The largest producer of adhesives, sealants, and fillers in the Nordics, Dana Lim, has begun expanding its headquarters. This move clearly emphasizes the company’s confidence in the future.

Over the past 10 years, Dana Lim has invested heavily in new production facilities to keep up with growth. During this period, the number of employees has increased – and it is for them that new and improved facilities are being created. According to CEO Lars Christensen, this is a natural step that prepares Dana Lim for the future.

– It wasn’t long ago that we built a new warehouse. Therefore, it’s only positive that we now need to expand our facilities once again. The new building will house new office facilities, a cafeteria, and changing rooms, and will make space for more colleagues in Køge, says Lars Christensen, adding:

– We are currently in a tough market, but that doesn’t make it any less important to gear up for the future, where we expect the market to rebound.

Focused on employees
The future and Køge are closely connected for Dana Lim. The longstanding company places great importance on maintaining its activities in Denmark, as it provides the opportunity to attract the best talent.

– For Dana Lim, it is crucial that we keep our activities in Denmark. This allows us to build on the strong relationships we have with our customers. At the same time, it gives us the chance to retain employees and attract new skilled talent, says Lars Christensen, concluding:

– It is absolutely essential that we create the best environment for our employees. They are our foundation, he states.

When the expansion is completed, there will be a new cafeteria that can accommodate up to 200 people, new offices, and additional changing facilities for 75 people. A total of 740 square meters will be built.
The construction has started and is expected to be completed in the second half of 2025.
